The Power of Extra Effort

What is Extra Effort? Yes, it means putting more effort. Have you ever thought, "I'm jogging the right way, but I'm not getting the desired results or slow results. In fact, someone else started later & has progressed way ahead of me & is now slim that I only dream of"; or you think, "The people who are doing better are simply more talented". Yes, you're doing jogging the right way & you'll definitely get results. But there is something that's even more powerful than good jogging ideas & doing jogging the right way; it's "Risky Actions" i.e. extra effort at key moments. Ideas give results, but risky actions get you to great results. This is the defining difference why some people get results fast & & that too great results. There is one more thing that assists result producers that is more important than talent. You're very much right in thinking people are talented. I've found, it's Mental Ability; the ability to have the right thoughts in mind when the pressure situation comes. A Pressure Situation is a Key moment while you're jogging & occurs when you're putting Extra Effort. Acting well in a pressure situation takes 3 steps:
1.      Making a Plan for Extra Effort Identify key moment & make a plan for it
2.      Rehearse plan in Mind Visualize before doing it
3.      Feedback: While executing plan you'll come to know where you need to do little changes
Newton's 2nd law says, "A body will continue to be in state of motion or in a state of rest, unless it is affected by some external force". The external force in our case is extra effort. When we put extra effort we can get our body out from the old state. Here is an action I would like you to take:
After you have jogged for your regular time, add 10 steps extra; jog 10 more steps. Repeat this for 5 days.
Tell me if you were able to break your old routine, old body state?
Regards,
Ricky
