How
does it feel when you're jogging? Energy draining? Don't enjoy it? There could
be many reasons for this but the fundamental reason is bad inefficient body
movement while jogging. Here is a list of ways that will make it a more
effective & enjoying experience:
- Tunnel
Vision:
Tunnel vision is simply you look straight with still head. Do it by seeing
a building, electric pole, a tree little above your eye's horizontal
level.
- Inner
Feet Pressure:
While running apply little more pressure on your inner feet. When 1 feet
reaches ground, pressure on the inner feet should be same you had applied
on other feet's inner side. Applying inner feet pressure is important in
reducing the after jog pain in your legs.
- Boat
Rafting Hand Motion: Have you seen someone rafting a boat or maybe you
would have done it on a picnic. The same hand motion you use while
jogging. Keep hands relaxed; then move hand like rafting a boat 1 at a
time.
So,
next day you go to jogging, I'd like you to practice 1 of the above tips e.g.
Tunnel Vision to see immediate benefits of less drained energy.
- Mark (imaginary) a spot
on any building, tree or electric pole little above your eye's horizontal
level, 20-30 meter away
- Jog by fixing your eyes
on the mark for 10 min. Keep your eyes open all the way
- Practice for 7 days.
After each couple of days add extra 4-5 min of tunnel vision jogging till
you jog completely with this technique.
If
you would like, comment on how was your progress.
Regards,
Ricky
